The Waltmarie format was created by Candace Kubinec. A ten-line poem where each second line is only two syllables and when read sequentially form their own mini-poem! The odd numbered lines have no syllable count restrictions. Thanks Val for the inspiration.
Mine also reads as an acrostic … a net pic.
Seems Walt and Marie married into great poetry (They got form!)!
Your poem is a gem, SweetKate…a powerful read!
AW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and OHMYGOSH on the photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

That’s an interesting format Kate, it’s got me a bit puzzled 🧐

lol in the reader it appears as one solid block of writing with no line breaks … that is totally confusing! No idea why it doesn’t read in the layout that appears in my blog 🙂

Fear definitely destroys love. And trust, once broken, is hard to mend. (K)

Kate, your opening verse should always guide us in our relationships.

You put me to shame! An acrostic and a waltmarie in one (which is already 2 poems for the price of one)! Don’t we all want to be loved?

we do, just that some look in all the wrong places 😦 But puppy love, ooh they’re so cute I had to use the pic again 🙂
