with others I go kindly
with myself I go lightly
with life I go full on
but always I go forward
going back is not an option
yet never feel the need
to always be on the go
prefer to take it slow, flow!
with others I go kindly
with myself I go lightly
with life I go full on
but always I go forward
going back is not an option
yet never feel the need
to always be on the go
prefer to take it slow, flow!
This is such a great attitude towards life Kate! I am only just learning to go with the flow, but it’s a valuable lesson.

What a mantra! Go full on without pressure and time to go slow with the flow. Me too!

Love the resolution that encompasses “go” in your poem. We should all be so resolute.

Yep words to live by. Reminded me of Leonard Cohen’s song ‘slow’ which has much of the same sentiment.

My heart and soul agree with your slow flow Kate! 😁 On a more serious note though, for real I feel like society has created a systematic rhythm of go, go, go and hustle and grind. This is truly an healthy way to be all the time, as we all ebb and flow like the moon or the seasons. ❤️
