glittering shafts of gold
so exquisite to behold
fantasmal fusion
out there and bold
as the sun rises and sets
life ebbs and flows
propriety amends
as each unique soul ascends
nothing withheld
with love we meld
fragile gossamer threads
linking hearts and heads
expiry propels us to our end
let go to heal and mend

The need to “heal and mend” shouts to me on this blessed Sunday. God’s grace and peace shall light the way.

Let go to heal and mend. Superb and sums up your poems so beautifully, Kate. We need to let go and heal and know ourselves.

I see it as the beginning, “let go to heal and mend”. A touch, a word or a look with love is all we need.

Nothing withheld – where love is, nothing more is needed, wonderful.

Heal and mend. We need to be told constantly and every time, seeping into our lives like a beautiful prayer. Alluring poem.

The word-pics in your poem are vivid and masterpiece-y…the emotions deep and relatable to all of us. Life is a series of beginnings and endings in so many ways, and then, of course, the ultimate “end”. Such a powerful write, SweetKate.
Your photo is a perfect pairing to your poem. (I always love the angel statues and artwork.)
(((HUGS))) and ❤ to you!!! 🙂

“let go to heal and mend” if only we all could do it before the end! Well said, Kate.
