Beautiful photo. What a sunning view to wake up to! Last weekend we enjoyed an autumnal walk in the woods, pumpkin carving, and a backyard bonfire with our kids. Trick or treating was banned this year since Ireland has returned to a severe lockdown for 6 weeks. We still had plenty of candy while we watched a spooky movie.

Wellll, the view outside my window right now is snow. Snowing in the Boston area the day before Halloween, No treat, a neat TRICK. So this weekend we’ll be cozying in front of the fireplace, reading and making beef stew and taking care of our 12-year-old granddog, Charlie, who loves to nothing better than to snore in front of that fireplace! 🙂

Kate’s idyll. A view like this, then a short stroll down the river walk to mounds and mounds of fresh produce.
Dang!
Now you’ve made it our idyll too, Kate!

Not envious, Kate, but grateful for putting me in mind of similarly savory moments 10,000 miles away!

Kate must say awesome pictures you always take and I had my birthday yesterday i.e. on Saturday and called my daughter and her family with two of her friends for dinner and then cut the cake and had a nice time. Two days back it was my grandson’s birthday so this week had a lovely time. Today Sunday was a quiet time. Take care and stay safe.

Our farmers market isn’t open on Sunday. Friday we played a tile game similar to rummy with a friend. Saturday we took a hike, and this evening dinner with an in-law.
I did go to my market on Thursday, which reminds me I’ve some avocado to use 😀

Hi, Kate, lovely shot! We went mountain biking today, and will do a nice long hike tomorrow before our daytime temperatures drop like a rock! Enjoy your Sunday! 🌞

Woow this is beautiful. Happy Weekend.
Started a book yesterday evening, The Perfect Wife by Blake Pierce. Will be continuing to read the same. And some yoga to complete the day. 😊

Well… Breakfast outdoors at a woodfire bagel shop, walked the local liner trail, online church on Sunday then packing for a week in the Georgia Mountains. Hope yours is great!

What a view! I went geocaching and have been catching up on household chores (not the most fun but I feel good when all is in order). I did finish painting another rock and I’m going to call my mother after dinner… Steamed cauliflower and baked squash over whole wheat pasta.

Gorgeous photo, Kate! Lovely poem. How nice it must be to walk along the river on your way to the farmers market. 🙂 I am glad you are enjoying your life in your inspiring location! ❤ Cheryl

Oh damn, I watched my footy team lose yesterday, and now to watch the Melbourne Storm today, fingers crossed… although I think it’s more fun gardening, even if it is cold, wet, and windy …..
