What a magical world, Kate! Things I scarcely ponder in the most fevered imaginations are part of your everyday existence. No wonder they inspire such writing.
Well, a good part of it is your golden benevolence, but the setting can’t hurt, right?
Made me sigh…your wonderful haiku and your beautiful photo of the bottlebrush!
Love their colors! The ones I’ve seen in person have been bright red.
HUGS!!! 🙂
PS…
Red bottle brush bloom
Beautiful! I would never
Clean bottles with you
🙂
Great poem, Kate and you teach me with this Australian flora .
Love ❤

Never seen these before. They are gorgeous… a bit like thistles but much bigger. I’d love to see them in full bloom.

They strike me as very ancient – primordial looking! I expect to see some small dinosaur pop up from the flowers and go skittering away!
