dissipate

chill wind blowing a blister
a grim sky heavily overcast
strained unusual circumstances

yet people opened their hearts
love and warmth shone thru
things aligned with a miracle or two

if they only knew
the impact of their kindness
when others are put first
it dissipates blindness

a better resolution
I couldn’t imagine
understanding aligned

d’Verse, stream of consciousness, Grace

  1. Absolutely beautiful. Kindness is a must, especially in these dark times. It can do so much to make someone’s day a better one. Even if it’s small, it can mean so much. Wonderful piece with a great rhythm and meaning behind it.

  2. I’m assuming this is about the citizens of Gander who opened their hearts to stranded plane passengers on 9/11. I am reminded of the popular song by Tim McGraw “Always be Humble and Kind”, both attributes so needed! Great write.
