epiphany

that moment is forever seared in my brain
indelible, carved deep, seeped within my bones

the moment I discovered Thor was my father
and Saraswati my mother, I am of mixed blood

unification of the east and the west
totally in love but cohabitation forbidden

but what a heritage and story I behold
it explains so much, feeling different

yet so special. Knowing I had power
to nurture life, lead others, share and care

things happen inexplicitly and now I know why
all the gods are protecting and guiding me

to be my best, lead by example and never quit
to open my heart and radiate love to warm all

oh that others could share such a moment
an epiphany of my purpose to love and unify!

  1. thunder, lightning, music, art wisdom…what better to be born of? And makes for an interesting combination. I have a bit of east west going on as well. Not in my heritage, but in my heart. I typically spend my summers in Nepal, and even more recently in India. Teaching at a school, doing relief work, sharing the love. It is heavy upon my heart that I did not get to go this year.

the moment of epiphany, even if taken just as a realization that you can be of both worlds, is a strong one. we are not limited, or should not let ourselves be limited, to just one.

I am glad you let the muse lead. it always takes us the best places.

    • Well Brian you are an interesting man of the world … I lived in India for years and have been visiting Nepal for decades, trekking and now teaching meditation … I’ve always been attracted to the east so no conflict there for me 🙂

Really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment on this very special occasion of the 8th anniversary!

  2. It gladdens my heart to see another awakening to the purpose of Love and Unification in these times, and spreading this feeling outward, like a shining star. Continue, yes! Lead by example and do not cease. There is so much more to learn and do, so much healing and inspiring to manifest! In Love, Jason

  3. “My purpose to love and unify….” Beautiful. Those of mixed heritage carry the best of both, I believe. So sad that cohabitation was forbidden. There is a heartbreaking story there.

  5. What a wondrous epiphany. I knew you were Wonder Woman anyway, but to see you’ve sprung from the loins of Gods, it all makes sense. You bring warmth to me, my friend ❤ ❤ ❤
