we all need a good belly laugh … so post some funnies
or anything a bit silly, get creative, cartoons,
pics or humorous stories!
make your post and link it here,
then see how silly others have been
this park obviously has concern about cyclists
using these wires to train for the circus
This made me smile, Kate. Very imaginative.

I live rurally so we’ve never had full lockdown as such … it’s Melbourne that is doing it tough and I am a day’s travel from there.
Personally I thrive on isolation so this suits me π

Good to know that you are doing well and isolation doesn’t bother you as much as other people. Big hugs. Stay safe ok?

I have been thinking along the lines of signs and had a very specific picture in mind which I can’t find. That’ll keep me up this weekend! Anyway, here is my contribution: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/07/11/toilet-humour/ However – I also have photo of something you might have had in mind when you posted your sign.

My father spent a lot of time refereeing rugby union when, amongst his other duties, he would be obliged to issue βcautionsβ, – they being the final warning before a player being sent off for foul play.
Thereafter, whenever he walked past a sign that said, βCaution! Wet floorβ or βCaution! Falling rocksβ he would respond by blowing a non-existent whistle and proclaiming, βRight, wet floor … one more like that and youβre off!β or βI donβt want to have to tell you again, falling rocks!β
He was an idiot, of course. Just like his son.

This must be a ‘trading post’ — but exactly how many bicycles does the trader want for his/her watch?

lol love it! We can certainly ‘read’ what we want into anything … pocus is giving us plenty of scope to get creative π

I had to laugh !!… My local pub was open again on Thursday night…. and prominently displayed on the Bar was a sign… “NO STANDING AT THE BAR”…. this old-timer comes in, looks around, sees a stool in the far corner of the room, goes and grabs it, drags the stool over to the bar and promptly “Sits” down at the bar….. !!

HA! Your photo made me snort-laugh! I would have obeyed the sign and sat there watching and watching and watching…hoping to see a bicycle go by on the wires. π Ha! π
Happy Friday, SweetKate! Keep the silly goin’! π
HUGS!!! π
PS…”Most of us would be upset if we were accused of being “silly.” But the word “silly” comes from the old English word “selig,” and its literal definition is “to be blessed, happy, healthy and prosperous.”” – Zig Ziglar

love those quotes, but a few minutes ago I changed the title to ‘funny’ thinking of those more negative connotations … I don’t mind being silly, probably a more natural state for me π

Perhaps not so funny as unusual. Saw an odd motorcycle that I can’t find an image of.
Two wheels in the front one in the back. Looks like it could seat 5, but three in the front and the driver was in the center front seat!
