d’Verse #poets

many faces and accents engage
as the world of d’Verse poets
indulged an open mic reading

Bjorn arranged a world first
for poetry is our real thirst
allowing our screens to burst

with a full range gathering
sharing keen enthusiasm
the excitement palpable

some of us missing
for various reasons
but all of us attended

by heart of the season
a trend that will continue
to grow with poets we know!

d’Verse, OLN, Bjorn

    • I am usually up before that, for meditation … just not that interested in learning how to do those face to face things … but it pleased a lot of people Bjorn, so hoping that you might do it again 🙂

  2. doubt it Mich but one of the team has confirmed that it will happen again 🙂

Why not respond to some of their prompts when they resume from the current two week summer break?

  3. Loved your poem! That you took the meet and so vvell described it, captured the mental, higher level there vvas in this great experience. The connection and the emotion, inspiration, the “Us” of it.
    Thank you for this!

  4. So sad I missed this! I haven’t been to an open mic in forever and to do one internationally…this was really a great opportunity. Thanks for memorializing in a poem, Kate. So apropos!

  5. Sounds like a great way to get to know all the other poets! Makes me nostalgic for Xanga where there would be “parties” and we’d all go to one person’s blog and have conversations via the comments! It was a lot of fun…
