a profound statement
on the state of our world in one masterpiece.

ok 🙂 I see the water crying out………our oceans, rivers, streams are so polluted and are crying for help………the trees are bare from a fire or being killed to be cut down……..the birds are leaving the trees as they provide little shelter and probably no food………..the human is seeing him/herself in this tragic scene knowing they must do something to make it better…….

The tears and sadness when everyone ignore. Loneliness and emotions battled out. The picture is thought-provoking and touches the heart in many ways.

Thanks for the invite. As much as there was sorrow and despair in the image, there was also hope within Her eyes. Hope that we all need, but that we all must work and strive to achieve.

Powerful image! I see a floodgate of tears releasing a multitude of prayers for the earth and her people. On the wings of angels, the prayers are carried to heaven. Broken branches are symbolic of our own brokenness; yet, every prayer is heard on the rush of angel wings; the prayers are answered, one by one, not a tear forgotten.

What a profound image, Kate it looks that our Mother Earth is crying bitter tears. What have we made of her. Killed all the trees and I can see only the birds flying to freedom.

Without over-thinking the whole thing, the picture screams our destruction of the world around us. The blackened trees; the rage filled sky; the black birds; the tears.
I’m going to try and post something and link it back either later today ot tomorrow morning(out here in the colony).
Great pic Kate and an equally “challenging challenge.”

I have green eyes and the eyes in the image look like they’re reflecting a wondrous green space with a figure in the foreground, the eyes make me think that there is a better world beyond our pain and tears. No wonder you shared it, it’s stunningly beautiful!
