we all mark momentous occasions with different ceremonies
especially the loss of our loved ones
this is just a peek of the near 400 surfers
at least 200 in a giant circle on their boards
and nearly as many on the beach celebrating a young man’s life
please share a memorial service or monument
post it on your blog and then link it back here
Lovely… I’ve attended one these sort off memorials Kate…..

What a beautiful, creative memorial. I’m sure the young man was looking down with a smile.

I feel like you shared this before.
I like memorials to happiness and joy. Or that give life. My cousins memorial for my aunt who passed on recently was an oxygen ventilator for a voluntary emergency paramedic organisation.
Love, light and glitter

I am in the beginning stages of planning a memorial. Do you have a how to article?

no I don’t have … first decision is it for the person who passed or for the living? Once that’s decided it should be based around their beliefs and interests. Finding the right person to lead it is most important, good luck and take care 🙂

Yes. It’s for the living but that makes the process all the more complex.
