Soon Peace will surely its blessing bring
Changing like magic each hateful thing!
Sorrow to joy, and darkness to light!
Warfare to Peace, and evil to Right!
And neath Godβs Banner we shall be free,
Shielded by His Love eternally!
by Florence Clee early 1900’s

OH! what a wonderful pairing of your sunrise photo and Great-Aunt Florence’s poem! Her words are encouraging and bring hope and peace. Say! Sunrises bring hope and peace, too! π
How are you doing, SweetKate?!

You are blessed Kate in your surroundings! It makes me happy to think of you there in such a magical place. Your aunt’s poem is lovely…filled with soft wishes for us all, like that lovely sunrise. God is good and the earth is a beautiful place. May we remember that in these difficult times. Thank you for sharing this piece of literary work that says so much…timeless! We can surely see that you have followed in your aunt’s footsteps, forging your own path to be sure…poems that sing with life, and cause people to reflect on the journey of their days.

I’m doing well. It’s just been a Lear curve and adjustment period getting used to working from home and trying to create a routine that also allows me to make sure I’m taking good care of myself. My husband and I have been working from home for the last a little over a month. A lot of long days. However, I feel like I’ve got a good routine going now, which is do helping. I hope u are well and safe my dear! π€ β€οΈ

We actually have some sun today – and had our walk early. Cloudy for the next two days followed by two more of rain. Rain is good for the gardens so many are planting now. π
Lovely verse. β€
