who really touched your heart
who has inspired you to impart
your better self and share your art?
think of their innate qualities
how they made you feel
now imitate that until itβs real!

There’s a lovely writer called Kate,
whose words of encouragement quite elate.
Those of us lucky enough to see her
revel in moments of sweet pleasure.

Aw, thank you…, but your kindness really merits much more. My inner poet has been languishing within the efforts of community solidarity these days, but I sense she’s ready to launch any day now… We’ll see. Hugs to you.

You’ve inspired me to poetry as well, Kate:
Waves of bright rolling
rhythmical whooshing
a pulse of resonance
that opens the heavens.
Empathy is both art and joy.

There was a very sweet poet named Kate,
who, I’m sure is a perfect mate.
Her poetics stimulate many others.
loners, buskers, seamen and mothers.

First i’d like to say the photo is stunning…you captured perfectly the beauty of the sky, the water and that boulders (?)
From the lightest shade of the sky gradually changing to the color of the water then to the darkest shade of those rocks/boulders…i am really in awe…
And your poem as always leave me with something to ponder.
P. S
I am reading your poem and looking at your stunning photo while listening to the chirping of the birds out side my window…what a delightful morning

I like the thought of imitating until it becomes real, perhaps until one truly realizes it has been real all along.

You express so much in a few lines! How do you do that π Indeed where we are today, all that we do, is the combined effort of all those good souls who worked tirelessly, inspiring, motivating and pushing us.
