Friday Fun – feathered friends

  1. I have never been successful in photographing birds… they always fly away before I can focus and take the pic. Around here most of the birds are earth tone. A friend said she had seen some bluebirds and we have the occasional cardinal and blue jay. Nothing close to what you have!!

  2. OH! 🙂 What a perfect photo post for a cold, windy, snow-expected day! These sweet beautiful fine-feathered-friends warmed my heart, made me giggle and smile! I am so happy they are in the world, in YOUR world, and you shared them with us! 🙂 Thank you, SweetKate! 🙂
We must all keep flyin’! 🙂
    HUGS!!! 🙂

  3. We rarely look at the sky and look into bird clusters that I decided to hang a picture of a beautiful sparrowhawk and nightingale. Let the birds fly and remind me that I have no wings. How bad I would like to go with the birds and fly to a friendly place.
    I sent my regards

  4. Exuberant collection, Kate! A couple I recognize as also populating our local aviaries, but most glitter only in your own jewel box.

Between the vibrant colors and your photographic skills, most snaps are on par with what calendar designers preview around October-November to encourage upcoming sales.

    • odd you should say that Keith … I make my own calendar each year, only one blogger took me up on it and I did a family one for her. Now I just make it with my own 12 favourite pics from the previous year. It’s printed on such good quality paper I later use them as pics or cards as my calendar scribble doesn’t come thru 🙂
