which day?

each day of the week
is an opportunity to seek
to tame my mind
let it unwind
and try to be more kind

every day
is a chance to say
I love you to those who matter
before life may scatter
us in ways that shatter

each dawn is another chance
to breathe before I dance
life can be unkind
but if I tame my mind
real joy I can find

as I accept the flow
patience will grow
so I may know
peace within my heart
so that I may impart

love for life
and all those in strife
for every single day
I can surely say
I must repay

each and every kindness
to unveil my blindness
coz every day
is a day to pray

dโ€™Verse, day, Sarah

    • big cheerful smiles and a warm hug for the kind gent … keep talking to Alex and getting out and about, that’s so important when you’re feeling down ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  2. Fantastic poem.
Even though I might not get success but I try it everyday.
I want to keep life out of “business and finance” zone. In other words I want to live it.

  3. So true and a such an important, beautiful reminder! Love your poem and photo duet!
This poem goes from my mind straight to my heart! And has settled in. Thank you, SweetKate! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Glistening, Kate! Bejeweled from start through finish.

An individual point doesn’t distinguish itself readily, as so many are worthy.

How about an appreciation for the optimism you gently weave throughout? Not really about living each day as though it’s the last, as that reflects fear borne of a looming threat, instead you advise greeting each day with a cheerful soul. A brand-new chance to make sparkle our particular thread in the tapestry.
