love playing in the sun
but every day is not fun
sadness feels like a stun gun
darkness can creep up on one
don’t ignore or it has won
healthier to go for a run
and think of a putrid pun
as one should not shun
what is deep inside
best not to hide
when things feel fried
look closely then confide
it’s ok to have cried
you will have tried
open your heart wide
so love and light can abide

So hard to overcome disappointments.
Son of Son had a mini die cast car brake… started to moan. Favorite or not – it is just a toy, that can possibly be repaired. But crying will not change what happened. Kind of like nipping a little tantrum in the bud. There are bigger disappointments that require our energy. Like the neighbor whose fridge of 30 years finally broke down. If we get too worked up over the little things the big things will be blown out of their true size.

Intriguing in that if you ignore the darkness, then it has won. This concept has many cultural implications. When we try to blur the lines of natural dichotomies, things really will become imbalanced and disharmonious, even if we don’t want to admit it.
