two simple things got me there Wendi … persistent determination and MEDITATION 🙂
Even before surgery I insisted on mediation instead of medication … I was a sensation around the hospital with specialists and students visiting frequently in disbelief!

My garden is bit quiet at this time of the year, but today I planted some succulent cuttings that I was given this weekend, hopefully they grow into colourful plants….

Like any garden, what grows is a result of the seeds planted. When we plant seeds of hope, love, compassion, empathy in our hearts, the harvest is then truly bountiful

So true. We must choose carefully the seeds we plant and cultivate.

Having been back home for a short visit, i realized that i have indeed planted a seed of goodness to most people i encountered then; that despite of my long absence i still see the love and compassion in these people’s eyes as they wave and smile hello to me.

Apt quote and nice picture. See the discussion you’ve inspired? All from the seed you planted when you posted this!
As any gardener knows, weeds come whether they’re bidden or not. It’s up to us, the gardeners, to keep them in control and to encourage the “good” plants. Excellent simile, Kate!

These flowers remind me of Spider Chrysanthemums – one of my favorite flowers 🙂
If only our leaders were more interested in planting peace than discord….
