Cascade, a form created by Udit Bhatia, The pattern: a/b/c, d/e/A, f/g/B, h/i/C //
whatever happens in our life
we always have a choice
chore or challenge, ecstasy or agony
our attitude and intention give the leadΒ
spiral downwards or remain positive
whatever happens in our life
too often we lay blame
avoiding our personal responsibility
we always have a choice
this sabotages our personal growth
for we can make it what we want
chore or challenge, ecstasy or agony!
Well said. Took me a moment or two to figure out the pattern. Much of what happens in life comes down to our own choices, and not the impact of others.

So many things are on a knife edge so that it becomes difficult to make the choice that is right for the situation. The consequences can be dire if we do not choose correctly.

Reminds me of family vacations… there is always one that seems to be in charge. One can go with the flow and not complain. And when choices are presented and not liked, make another suggestion, even if it doesn’t work – go with the flow! Not everyone has to do the same thing all the time π

I like this poem Kate . You use very well the words to to say the perpetual choices in front of us in our life , between faith and hope in a hand and despair and going down in the other.

We don’t always have a choice in what happens us, but as you wisely pointed out, we do have a say in how we cope and handle the challenges that come our way… xx

exactly Ivor we can become victims or victors, we always have that choice … to crumble or to stay strong …

Surely we can make our choices and proceed further and take up challenges in life. Loved the awesome picture of the clouds and the poem too, Kate. Too good.

So very true Kate and beautifully said as always. Yes, we always have a choice and itβs always up to us how we respond to what happens in life. π

I like the way your put that, Kate! We have far more control over our lives than we like to admit, I think.
