moonlight so bright
meandered about outside
spacious quiet beauty
so fresh after the rain
billions of stars gleaming
vast views calm serenity
solitude in nature a blessing
how did I get this lucky …
my dream for many a year
has now become my reality
no neighbours lights or noise
calm quiet poised solitude
Beautiful and serene. Lucky you!

SIGH 🙂
I’m so so so happy for you, Kate!
This is a beautiful poem and a wonderful photo…serenity, yes!
I love living rural in the mountains…we feel like we can reach up and touch the moon and stars on a clear night! 🙂 Coop and I just got in from our nighttime walk. Clear skies, cool night, slight breeze. 🙂
HUGS!!! 🙂

Is your water tank filled now?

I do enjoy a full moon night every month, despite living in a big city. These days, little clouds appearing up to accompany the moon, so it is nice to watch them up, without thinking about anything else 🙂

I didn’t realize until another prompt that this was the Blue Flower Moon… the second full moon of the season (a blue moon, not color wise – is also the second full moon of the month.)
A double treat! Peace and beauty.
