Alliteration may bring botheration
Before igniting our muses core
Creates crucial internal debates
Diverse creations do converse
Empowering our emerging verse
Fantasy and fiction weave their way
Grammar manipulated as our hammer
Humour subtly blended to inspire
Integral to light our readers fire
Joy erupts as we toy
Know we weave a magic show
Loitering with intent is meant
More words and verses in our store
No need to plagiarise for any more
Our imaginations hold it all
Poems and prose sprout at our call
Questions stimulate pertinent prompts
Resonate deeply as we contemplate
Savour each sound and syllable
Taste it rolling off our tongue
Utilize every single one
Verily we compose merrily
Wombs birth volumes of tombs
Xpect the unexpected
You may well become infected

abc poem inspired by Punam and Ivor – pic April sunrise from my door
Not sure which is more stunning; the photo or your words.
Beautifully written.

While visiting another Alphabet in inspired verse I explored Q words that aren’t followed by a ‘U’.
Much to play with, with alphabet letters ๐

What a glorious poem Kate, spot on, and so very clever of you. Sorry I canโt say/stay much more, Iโve been to another Bon voyage party tonight, with my friends who have been extra kind and supportive, they have all seen/been a part, of my journey, up close and personal. It was a fabulous night. ๐๐๐ญ

I love how you counterpose serious and humourous and arrive at that point of awareness. ๐

If finding rhymes ferments frustration
Always attempt alliteration
Be bad, be bold, be brave, be better
Line by line of linking letter
Pithy poetry. Pathetic.
Phosphorescent and phonetic
Sorry, silly, sad, sardonic
Irritating and ironic.
