[…] Shots taken during our long drive to the Great Ocean Road with my niece. It was a fun getaway but in between walks there was heavy downpour while we were on top of the cliff. It turned out to be a great experience and bonding time with family. For this week’s Friday Foto Fun Challenge […]

Interesting
There’s a wonderful painting by Henry Grant Lloyd, 1860 at the Wiki info site.
Even in the snow I enjoy my ‘picture’ from my window. I get to watch ‘my’ birds and the movement of the little creek. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conestoga_River
My little tributary is a part of this system. The bridge at the link isn’t near me. And my little creek is only about 1/4 as wide. But it is enough. 🙂

Beautiful! Peaceful! Powerful! Healing! ETC! 🙂 Thank you, Kate! 🙂
We used to live less than 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean, so we spent a LOT of time at the beach! Our car was filled with sand, but our faces were smiling and our hearts filled with joy! 🙂
HUGS!!! 🙂

thanks Punam … hey I’ve lived in the outback, the Himalayas, many places but I grew up by the sea so I feel it’s calling 🙂

This is a beautiful picture, Kate. Just right now watching the beautiful expanse of the sea from the hospital as my husband had a minor partial knee surgery but the sea is awesome especially in the early morning

Here’s my “share”: a scene (ending on the beach at Cannes, France) from a 2007 film I like a lot titled MR. BEAN’S HOLIDAY. The song is LA MER (THE SEA). The plot revolves around a simple-minded Londoner on vacation in France. Enjoy!

Love it … Mr Bean is a hero of mine, add that huge choir a French beach and oola lah la ❤
