Had a great day, how was yours?
Ben and Jen attached my ‘story board’ to my tiny wall which meant I laminated some photos to start my story. Have been accepted to train in a voluntary job that I have wanted to try for sometime. Finally the time and location came together and I will train two mornings a week about ten minutes drive from home. More about that if I make the grade.
Drove out to my nearest beach only eight kilometres away but a ten minute drive as I have to cross the highway. Once the bypass is complete at the end of this year local driving will be even easier! This isolated beach goes for miles, just can’t find out how many, and is the boundary of the National Park. It has fine powdery white sand with a huge dune for sliding down on the two boogie boards left there for that purpose. It’s best known for the birdlife and whale watching … a top activity of mine that I’m so looking forward to doing more of.
Also informed that I have work locally for election day, have been a polling official for some years. It’s an intense sixteen hours first with the public then sorting and counting votes. But it’s also a great way to meet more locals and did I mention it’s paid work!
Started my fitness campaign walking up and down our long steep rough driveway …
Honestly this has been the best move, I am so grateful … have asked Ben and Jen to stay put for at least ten years or the rest of my life whatever that is. But guess there are no guarantees …
I whish you all the best❤️and make you a great weekend🦋

Like I’ve said, what you give freely, always comes back to you, just when you least expected it and in other forms not necessarily monetary. I’m so delighted for you Kate! Xx

I am both delighted and relieved Marie, it’s been a tough road to get here … and I don’t mean that driveway 🙂

Kate, thanks for sharing your thoughts. With a bit of break in the winter weather, I thoroughly enjoyed a one-hour walk.

I am so happy for you. Are you always in the sun? Like some parts of California and the southern US? Do you also get some winter snow? I was out again this morning shoveling. But it is going to be a great day since Hubby is returning from about a week away for business. 🙂
Good luck in your training and all that you do. Hugs, Jules

No we only have a few mountain areas down south that get snow … where I live and most of Australia never sees snow, too close to the equator!
Usually sunny, even in winter it’s short sleeves in the day and warmer gear once the sun goes down. But none of the extremes like you experience Jules.
