Royals and politicians are no longer dignified
their speech and behaviour are common
so respect has become most difficult
No longer do they behave with noble dignity
too drunk to vote, churlish, with too many affairs,
honour trampled, they embarrass themselves.
The general public want to be impressed
we prefer they exhibit grace and worth
so we may glorify and elevate our leaders
daily prompt: Dignify – 26.8.17
Very true and well said! I love the bird picture and thought that it was a very interesting choice 🙂

interestingly enough animals behave in a more dignified manner than most humans …

yes I agree, That’s how I loved your bird picture – it conveys this dignity in only it’s being so well!

Don’t call on a god unless you want to go to heaven. It’s a trashy world, and they mirror it. Have you ever read, “The Prince?” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_A4G1jkw24 We all fight our battles. It never ends.

ah but sadly they should be showing us a way out, not cementing it!

Agree. The new fad seems to let people go into traps by their will. I don’ think the people who designed this realized that some times there is no other way, and it is a path selected out of desperation or misplaced instinct. Mercy, maybe?

oh I think those traps are set for the poor and desperate knowing full well that they may capitulate … 😦

Yet no matter how bad it gets they always get away with it.

because we allow it, it’s actually criminal, they should be setting an example not lowering the bar!

Sadly, all too true. Standards of behaviour and common decency have nosedived in recent years.

Totally agree with these words, Kate. Selfishness is so rampant today all this has to go in order to be selfless.
