Every breathe, each moment
our length of life depletes
from the moment we are born
we approach death
our attitudes and behaviours
impact on the pace
if wise and healthy
we can enjoy a good life
if harmful to ourselves or others
we hasten the pace and feel the burden
we all have the choice
to meander or quicken
are your attitudes prolonging life
or are you rushing headlong into whatever comes next?
Daily Prompt: Quicken – 3.1.17
A lot of us tend to want to rush into whatever comes next in life, when we could all take each moment one at a time and really enjoy them.

Dancing is all about poise, balance, movement, rhythm, pace, and pause, but the beat always goes on 🙂

I say enjoy each day and moment for what it is and what it has to offer. After all the little things are later what we find to be the the most precious moments.❤️ 😊

Important poem and beautiful photo! OH, that face! 🙂
I don’t mind a balance of quick and slow (as to the daily pace).
But, I’ve learned how to slow things down considerably as I get older…
I say “no” a LOT more things…you know, when people ask me to volunteer or to do stuff or to go places, etc.
Slow-Gentle-HUGS!!! 🙂

Slow definitely I’m. Despite living in that part of the world where life and those who are living it are constantly sprinting around, I’m as slow as a snail.
But happy I’m for who I’m and this matters the most 🙂
