We all need a reliable mentor
a true authentic not an inventor
Who can give advice and guide
one who will greatly inspire
Should be leaders not mad hatters
Might help with professional matters
Or could be spiritual, personal or sport
one we totally trust who will support
Real experts in our field with a network,
would know our very nature and any quirk
Support but challenge us to become better
in every possible way, work study and play

Oh, Kate, so true! Yes, it is so wonderful to have a good mentor!
I think everyone should HAVE at least one mentor…perhaps an older person…AND, also, BE a mentor to someone else…perhaps a younger person. 🙂 We learn and we pass on what we’ve learned. 🙂
HUGS!!! 🙂

Thanks! Great post. Either having a mentor or being a mentor. It’s a privilege to be one either end of the mentorship spectrum.

I’ve been getting my meditation in, it’s been interesting actually I’ve done it at different times and it’s gone surprisingly well.
I’ve been trying to walk the dog but unless I get out quick I’m restrained. I can’t hide in the dunny… They know where I am 😂

I have tended to learn by the seat of my pants… for most things. It would be nice to have a mentor.
(I’m home and slowly catching up – thanks for all your visits.)

Fortunately, America has a great-again mentor in President Trump. I, at least, can think of no better mentor of how to lead a country down a moral abyss. 😦

yes we also learn be example of what NOT to do, if it’s morally corrupt we can choose not to repeat it 🙂
