It is hard to accept kindness from others when one is used to living alone. But I think that my neighbors, myself and those others who rally around our elder neighbor is finally getting it – we will do all we can to help him stay in his home. And his joyous grateful smile is all that I expect in return.
oh how sweet, that is how community and neighbours should be … everyone would prefer to stay at home, wish my mother was more tolerant of those trying to help her!
