  1. Someone told me years ago that if you don’t forgive others it is like making the decision to carry them around on your back for the rest of your life…heavy, painful, tiring, saddening, restrictive, etc. 😦
    So, you are right! We must practice forgiveness…and I like that you included we must forgive ourselves. Tough to do at times, but vital to our well being and growth.

    • like your analogy, it’s our choice to carry them all our life or not, but forgiving ourselves is the toughest … have a couple of dear ones really struggling with this one just now … why do we blame ourselves for others deaths 😦

  2. Forgiveness is a gift we often forget to present in the present to ourselves and those who have bound us. When we forgive ourselves we then can move forward. Even when others stay ensnared within their own dramas. We can gift our hands reaching, but other if they, the others, do not grasp it… we must sometimes let them fall. Some lessons one can only learn for themselves.
