It takes only a second to flash a smile
Yet it can make another’s life worthwhile!
It takes only a second to appreciate
That we steal another’s time being late!
It takes only a second to open our heart
Then real kindness we can impart!
It takes only a second to hate
But we all choose our own fate
It takes only a second to forgive
And it becomes so much easier to live …
It takes only a second for the future to become now
Yet all too often we miss it somehow?
It takes only a second to die
And we wont know why …

Such a wonderful poem, Kate! Yes, every second matters! and we can often decide how to live the seconds…and if we have no say in something, we can chose how to respond to it. Choosing the positives is the way to go! 🙂

Been a tad occupied by seconds, minutes and hours this week.
