We gleefully climbed the highest mountain
with our flag fluttering above us
for our village to view
as the river running past
and the traffic flowed on
our livestock grazing
as our friend waited
on an opposite peak
to photograph our climb
and the magic moment!
OH, how exciting and wonderful! A huge joyful memory in your memory bank!
Your poem made me smile!
Did you do the drawing, too?!
HUGS!!! 🙂

We climbed
You and I
To the summit
High
Above the city
Where eagles fly
A view so pretty
We touched the sky
Whilst below
What a pity
They could only ask
Why.
