Where else do roos and people stroll
down a rough dirt track
girth by ocean and river
views keep them coming back!
Tourists seldom stray far away
feeling safer on the tarmac
so they miss many an adventure
burdened by their backpack
Please venture further afield
to experience a whole stack
of nature’s exotic beauty
that abound on our off-track!
For the average attractions
will often lack
the dynamic diverse impact
that Australia offers for a fact!

It sure does. I went to a Wedding in Alice Springs once. Not that was an adventure. 🙂

I think that’s true of any destination. Getting out and away from the tourist traps is the best. Exploring, immersing oneself, and even getting lost are the best ways to see the true nature of someplace one visits.
