Dogs run free off their leash,
owners chat, sharing doggie stories.
Bathing, chasing, splashing,
fetching, digging, running in packs
All are acceptable on this long beach
but beware the river bull sharks lurk
In the deep sections and dog is highly
desirable on their daily menu
This beach is just opposite the
“No Dogs Allowed” one, so dogs
Can run wild but swimming near
the sharks is not really advisable!
PS that rust coloured dog with Scruff in the feature photo slobbered all over me, gross!

I’ve never been able to take my dogs to a dog beach, but I really wish I could. (Although probably only at low tide, when the water was so shallow I didn’t have to worry about sharks!)

lol the beach falls away very close to the low tide mark into extremely deep water where those bull sharks wait for tender morsels 🙂
