a typical day might include
a walk in the park
check out the sky
then say nye nye
but my life is more interesting than that!

Are those ‘block boys’ – Xanthorrhoea in the top photo. I tried to grow on here (East Coast) once and it didn’t go so well but my neighbours have two growing. I remember being in Perth some years ago and seeing them growing pretty much everywhere.

Lovely pics but I do know that your life is more interesting than the typical.

I don’t know if I could say my life is more interesting than a typical day of experiencing the wonders of nature… But on that note, I just sent you my interview, so I guess you can decide for yourself. 😆

Beautiful pics and I like the sweet typical day poem! 🙂 Regarding the second pic, my mother used to call clouds such as those, buttermilk clouds because when one drank buttermilk it left the same sort of pattern on the inside of the glass.
Lovely post, thanks for sharing.

I’d love to include such beauty in my typical. Of course, I would do better if I would go outside and give the world a chance!

I do enjoy a good walk. It is interesting the different plants that exist. 🙂
Do you know what the flowers in the first photo are called.
I’ve seen them but I don’t recall their name (if I ever did know it).

Not sure what the tall ones are but the orange ones at the bottom are Birds of Paradise. 🙂

…But what are the tall spiky ones?

it’s not PC to use the local nickname! And I’ve no idea of the latin name, sorry .. it is native and those spikes are used to light fires, rubbing together or as a bow, firm but feel lush soft and furry …

-kind of like Cat-tails plant, but clearly different. No worries. I know I’ve seen those plants in other southern states here too.

Amazing, how the plants in the first pictures form a line and let the smallest plants stand in front.
