Nothing is constant except that things will change.
Yet I repeat habits and erring patterns of behaviour
because learning and growing takes real courage
Easier to drift refusing to budge from my routine rut
thus choosing to remain stuck in my own quagmire
dodging healthier habits that could help me to grow!
Do you constantly avoid changing unhealthy habits?
DP: Constant
I guess we all are guilty in some extent.Old habits die hard.

Positive change is almost always hard. Much harder than negative change; that seems to be true for all ages.

Hmm…that’s human nature I think. But I know I hang on to habits in part because I simply am a person of routine.

We all do!
Often we resist change (for many varied reasons) and when we finally make the change we say, “Darn! Should have done that sooner!” because things are better. 🙂

One way I have changed is to drink less soda. Less cans to recycle and a healthier body. Though I still treat myself to preferred brands when out. I try and only get soda when company is coming. Less in the cupboard is less tempting for me. Though the brand I did drink had codes that would donate funds to local schools or charity. Every little bit helps.
