Really enjoy the spaciousness of simplifying my life
by culling all the physical and emotional clutter

By taking that long walk with my camera to record
the beauty that presents itself in so many ways

Or the long cycle that gives my mind space from
it’s busy blustering; how do you simplify?



  1. Absolutely on your wavelength today. I’ve spent my entire morning decluttering and culling, cleaning and letting go of stuff and I’m feeling so much better for it.

  2. I spend a few minutes watching the birds on our bird table. Or take a walk around the garden to see what’s new. Or a brisk walk to blow out the cobwebs.

  4. Hi Kate, I also love to take long walks beside the river to de-stress and clear my mind. I like your idea of bringing a camera along the way to capture the beauty of nature. Writing also helps me when I feel overwhelmed. Hope you’re having a great weekend Kate 😊

  5. I am trying to think on how I simplify…… and I can’t right now because it seems like I have a thousand things going on in my mind at the moment, shoot I still think I am in January! I think after my dinner party tomorrow night I will spend the rest of the week cleaning my house, camper, mind, and body. And then on Friday take my pup to the beach and relax. I also need to get back to blogging but I can’t seem to find enough minutes in the day yet this year.

  6. I watch a TV episode of the show Hoarders and it spurs me on to deep cleaning, sorting, and giving stuff away in a possessions-declutter! 😉

    It’s more fun to do stuff to declutter and sort my mind! 😉 😀

    I always choose fun over work! 😉
