We are all enrolled in the school of life
some learn quick, others attract strife
Sadly violence and chauvinism run rife
often so thick you could cut it with a knife
What lessons have you learnt so far?
Realised you will never be a big star
Keen to drive that new flashy car
Are your expectations up to par?
We came to this school with nought
get caught up in games and fraught,
sit still and listen to your heart to sort
that you have learnt the lessons taught
Be aware that all too soon we will leave
Know deeply in your heart what you believe
for it’s only ourselves that we deceive
Be very careful of all that you weave!
