The tree cover undulating hills are in stark contrast
to the vivid green crops swaying in the valleys below
Our emotions tend to undulate in a similar fashion
Life becomes more balanced if we can level them out
Coz the undulations are unpredictable
as we rise and fall under their control
If we get to know our triggers and excitements
we can tame them into gently swaying fields
So very lovely. Here’s to navigating that stable ground, amongst all the undulations.

As I read this I undulated with the rhythm of your words. Beautiful as always.

Such important advice. Truth.
A gentle sway is better than a hurricane. 😉
And that photo…I could stare at that scene for hours!
HUGS!!! 🙂

Dont mind some lofty peaks and deep doldrums now and then myself, chaos can be quite the thrill. Nice piece.

The last line is definitely my favorite, I don’t know what it is but the image of gently swaying fields is such a good goal to aim for when using it as a metaphor for emotions. It’s such a soothing image. Great poem!
