A brilliant day for me is one spent by the sea
a relaxing beach walk and a paddle
or flying a kite bouncing on the breeze
Or hiking in the mountains with fresh air galore
Or scrambling about in a cave, life should not be a bore
Work out your priorities to ensure
Make every moment count, be true to your core!
Sit and listen to another, open your heart, dare to be raw
for whenever we give we get back far more
It is ironic that in order to really connect, we have to be open. If we are reticent to others, they will be the same towards us.

This one really resonates. Beautiful. Yes I think making every moment count is much better than living every day as though it is your last.

Yes, we do! So true! We always get back far more! ๐
Those delights you listed are magnificent and bring me peace and joy. But, as you, also, say…so does time spent with people.
