When others seem fickle
do you tend to prickle
or laugh lightly with a tickle
Tempted to attack with a sickle
erupt violently in a real stickle
best to distract by reaching for a pickle
ok ok I must mention mining nickel
doesn’t quite fit, now I’m in a pickle
daily prompt: Prickle
Kate, suitable rhymes slow to a trickle.
Ah, until a thesaurus becomes the vehicle!

Fun… There’s a joke about a pickle…
The guy got his hand caught in the pickle slicer and they both got fired…

So true, Kate! A fun and wise poem! 🙂
Yes, it’s important that we have the right attitude when other people’s attitudes are negative. We can’t control how other people act, but we can control how we act/respond to them.
I am one of 8 siblings and one of the only snacks they wouldn’t try to snatch away from me (when we were kids) was when I was eating a dill pickle. 😀 None of them liked dill pickles. HA! 😛
HUGS!!! 🙂
