This photo helps me reflect on past travels,
sure the scene is reflected in the canal
but I also love how the buildings reflect each other
with the flowers and house boats adding the pop of colour
Paddington bridge built in 1914
WPC: Reflecting – i used to hike along the London Canals most Sundays
It is fun to see the reflections in the creek… and now with the leaves falling, when they land on the water they create ripples. When the sun is just right one can see the bottom and even some of the fish that are still about who create their own ripples from below when they think food has landed on the surface of the water 🙂

Great photo, Kate! A perfect candidate for immortalization.
You framed things so well, too, with the reflection drawing the eye to infinity.
Your album is more generously-illustrated than are most travel books. Plus, each scene has special significance and stirs warm memories. How extraordinarily comfortable it must be to go through part of your collection on a chilly, drizzly afternoon! Once – just this once – you wish for bad weather. .

I love reflection photos! And this one is no exception. What a beautiful place to travel.
“Paddington” makes me think of Paddington Bear, Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie. 🙂
Thanks for the heads up…I’ll check the spam.
HUGS!!! 🙂

It’s odd how that happens. Someone who had been commenting for quite some time I found in spam.
