Our very world is on the cusp
as the poverty divide widens
the haves oblivious
to the masses needs
their real lack of funds,
inadequate health care and feeds
Such blatant disregard
stirs deep dissatisfaction
unless the masses are appeased
with realistic solutions
the wealthy would be wise to note
that desperate people have few choices

The last line recalls a French proverb, “An empty stomach has no ears.”
A dangerous situation, but for remarkable fluidity. Not only is this dynamism inevitable in societies of any size, but our species’ instinct to strive gives the process a nice boost.
That doesn’t mean everyone who’s persistent will go places – far from it – but there are vast numbers of people who refuse to accept the station to which they were born.

I know…in our place alone..there are only two types of people..the rich and the poor…you will basically see the difference and most often than not…there are no in betweens or the average..where do i belong? Lucky to belong on the fortunate ones and lucky too to have been raised by parents with compassion to our less fortunate brothers..
