Was an intrepid adventurer
Did the Annapurna’s years ago
Climbed, trekked, caved and explored
Well travelled and lived abroad

Journeyed many roads
And found some new ones
But found the biggest challenge
Was taming my own thoughts and emotions

Now prefer flat easy roads as I charter my inner world
No longer need to conquer the complicated
so steep, windy or rocky no longer entice
As I explore all that makes us tick!
