They say some people are scared of their own shadows
Yet with these scarecrows their shadow seems more intimidating
Some live in the shadow of expectations from society or family
More fulfilling to live a life true to yourself!

I wonder just what the birds think of scarecrows…
Too many huddle in the shadows of those who would lead them down the wrong roads.

yes discernment is not obligatory … I think most birds find them great to perch on, not seen a frightened one yet 😉

yeah you are spot on when some people see their own shadow it makes them cringe. Perhaps they should realize if their shadow reflects who they are. Cringe at the sight of your own shadow tell you that you are an ugly person and I’m not talking looks…..

I think having fear and insecurity doesn’t necessarily make anyone ‘ugly’ as such but it might be a strong indicator that there is plenty of room for self improvement?
