Sleepy lazy sunbathing or sleek sneaky slithering;
scary stalking, still staring before striking;
slim and slender or stocky and sturdy in size;
we snakes, lizards and skinks dress in slimy,
slippery or scaly skins.

I’ve always liked snakes, most are dry cool to the touch though.
As a family we had a boa when I was growing up.
Very friendly when well fed and not hungry!
